Flying Saucers from Outer Space - Donald E. Keyhoe Vintage paperback in good used condition. Tear of front cover along the spine (top/bottom 50mm) but still firmly attached. RARE and collectible. Arrow Books (UK ed. 1956). 256pp. NZD: 6.50 / P & P : A Here is the thrilling, behind the-scenes account of the Air force's struggle with the flying saucer scare. Major Keyhoe explains with rare forcefulness exactly why the public has never been told the truth about unidentified flying objects. This was Major Donald Keyhoe's second book on the subject of UFOs, published in 1953, and the last to be written whilst he was still a serving officer in the US military with an office inside The Pentagon. Hard-hitting content of what Keyhoe increasingly saw as a cover-up of good UFO evidence by the USAF. In this book, the battle lines between Keyhoe in his later role as chairman of NICAP and the agencies of the US Government over the UFO disclosure issue start to be drawn. Conversations about the subject between senior USAF officers witnessed by Keyhoe are quoted verbatim and at length.
